First day of MileHiCon!

Hello, DASFAns!

I’ve had a great time so far at the convention. It has been wonderful to see old friends and meet new ones.

I hope you can make it to our pizza party in the con suite tomorrow, Saturday, from noon to 2pm.

If you’re viewing this website for the first time - welcome! We are much more active on Facebook and Discord. Search for “DASFAns - Denver Area Science Fiction Association”.

MileHiCon this weekend!

This weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year: MileHiCon! I highly recommend attending, if you haven’t already. It’s a spectacular science fiction and fantasy literary convention, and John Scalzi will be there for panels, meet and greets, and autographs. It will be held at Hyatt Regency Aurora, across the street from Anschutz Hospital. 13200 E 14th Pl, Aurora, CO 80011

DASFA will be sponsoring a pizza party in the Con Suite at MileHiCon on Saturday, October 24, from noon to 2pm. I hope to see you there! If you’d like, you can bring a dessert or veggies/fruit to share.

Welcome to DASFA!

Greetings and salutations! Thank you for visiting our page. We will have many updates on here very soon.

In the meantime: be excellent to each other, and to yourselves! And to tardigrades everywhere.

December Director-y (2014 edition)

If you enjoyed Sam Knight’s presentation at our November meeting I am going to question your sanity. While Sam is a very pleasant person and was looking forwards to being our guest, cold weather and a general response that most members did not wish to journey out on such a night led me to cancel the meeting. I am working with Sam to get him rescheduled for next year.

November Meeting Cancelled

I have decided to go a head and cancel tonight's meeting due to weather as it sounds like no one really wishes to go out if they do not have to. We will have to spend some time at the Christmas party on DASFA business. Please help spread the word so no one has to go out in this weather.

November Director-y (2014 edition)

This year just keeps getting away from me. Seems like there was a whole lot happening to keep me and the family busy..

I hope everyone found Stant Latore’s presentation for last month’s meeting as enjoyable as I did. He asked if I would pass along the cover reveal for Ansible 15715 http://www.patreon.com/creation?hid=1126477.
