Dan O'Bannon, Science Fiction Screenwriter, has Died at 63

Happy 80th Birthday, Science Fiction Fandom!

A bit of news reported on Tor.com:

On December 11, 1929, the world’s first club devoted to science fiction met for the first time. They called themselves the Scienceers. Years later, in 1961, one of their original number recalled those days in a fanzine article which, through the magic of the World Wide Web, can be read here.

Happy Birthday Everyone!

About Odyssey

Site Reopened from Move

Nov 13 2009

Hey folks!

We here at DASFA have gotten fed up with the restrictive and annoying policies at Hostway, so we'll be packing up over the next 24-48 hours and moving to a linode instance, where we can do whatever we want without having to pay $15 to blow our nose. (Kleenex additional $5 charge.)

latest on-line issue of MindFlights ( http://www.mindflights.com/ ).
A little light fantasy/SF blend.

Cheers,
- Alastair

Mindflights is a free online magazine, so why not zip over there and have a look?
